This is a good video of an E61 playing in the snow - Germany I think ?

During the power slides it demonstrates why rear wheel drive is so good, but in slow montion due to snow.

Personally, I would not do that with my car, but still it looks like fun.

Weel, it shows how it can get stuck easily even on flat pavement in 10cm of snow... that has happened to me lately, it took me like 15min to get the car moving, I had to use the floor carpets too :-/ sucks so badly, DSC no help at all... my other car e36 M3 with LSD is a snowmachine compared to e61 (too long, too heavy, useless DSC, ...)

abcsworld, thanks! man, that's just beautiful! I love it at :31 and 1:10 when it's drifting and churning up so much snow it's like laying down a smoke screen. Makes me proud to be an e61 X owner

I shoulda known it was already on YouTube, was just too lazy to search for it
