Hi All-
head scratcher here, my ailing e61. Its tired, electrical gremlins are taking over at 180k. This round it seems I have lost the power to the passenger seat, with no adjustment nor heat working.
In its current position, I can't seem to pull the side cover off to check the multi pin connector. Any thoughts? Fuses seem OK, not sure where to check. Is there a manual way to move the seat so I don't break another plastic piece on this thing?
thanks!

I would suggest looking at the relays responsible for seat and heater control. If those are good remove the seat like MysticRob said and inspect it outside the vehicle. It comes off very easily.

Get a code reader that allows you to clear the airbag code if you DO get one. If you don't want one, just tinker with connections while the battery is disconnected. I acknowledge that is somewhat less than helpful if you need to try disconnecting things to test for voltage while the battery is connected.
