Just got the news from the dealer that my new beast is arriving tomorrow, after less than three weeks of waiting time.
Unfortunately I will be out of town till Sunday.
I can't wait till Monday to see it.

BMW Italy had one free car in pre-order, so I was still in due time to change all the details regarding options, engine, color etc. 1 and 1/2 week after the order it went into production (last week) and tomorrow it is here. Easy and probably lucky. However 3 and 1/2 months look a bit too long to me, normal time in Italy would be 45-60 days max. This is what I should have waited if would not have found the car already pre-ordered.

PS: Great combo the car you ordered, I did the same excange two years ago when became father as well. The only think I would avoid with a child is the cream colour interior, too delicate. However you can change your mind till one week before the car goes into production. Enjoy your car as well I had a lot of fun and nice drive with my 525i. Post pics.

Thanks! I know that the creambeige interior can be a problem but it?s so good looking so I gladly work with leather wash+protection I think that newborn babies are not a big problem, worse when they reach 3, then it?s time for plastic in the backseat
