It looks pretty nice, and it seems it'd work much better than the one you would see on Lexus LS460
I wonder if I can retrofit one like this :P

Exactly, would be interesting to know what kept BMW to launch this feature a couple of years back? I can guess, but it would be nice to know the official reason, so to speak.
