FYI my 535d has done 173,500 miles (279,000km) - I reset the DPF warning without replacing the DPF at c.120,000 miles and now 53,000 miles on there's no detectable difference in performance and emissions still show zero particulates.
That is good news.

280,000km?

I am just a shade over 80,000km...

What is the year model of your E61?

What have you had to replace?

Sorry for the delay - Holidays !

It's a January 2005 build.
It had the intake manifold replaced under warranty a couple of years ago.
Nothing else apart from consumables.
Could do with a gearbox refresh now as I tow the M5 with it.
And the cigarette lighter doesn't pop up when you open the ashtray

Where do you get the information on emissions?

When it has an MOT test

Another cheap and permanent solution but the worst for enviroment, is to drill some holes in the DPF. It won't trigger any engine light, it will improve the accelerations and if you have a stock car you might only see a very few black smoke at wot under low rpms.
