wow, what a very, very, very nice car; it definitely must be mine ;-)

no joking, I bought an Oxford Green E61because I love the color on Touring. (not on a sedan) and besides that our other car is a Britisch Racing green Mini Cooper S Works.

Sorry I could not do a life comparison of Deep Green and Oxford Green; Deep Green seems more greyish though ;-)

yeah it's a great color/rims/m-aero pack combo. BTW do you follow the meet and greet topic on a new e60/e61 meeting?

Yeah, you've got to join us next summer and you've GOT TO bring that Touring. It is beautiful. The same with mppockaj's Silver E61. I wrestled with Silver, Green and Mystic Blue. Now I see how beautiful the green is. Too bad they're not making them in US Specs yet. That's got to be the sharpest-looking wagon anywhere. And the Auburn/black interior is what I ordered.

And you're right, you never see green BMWs - the most common color is that darker gray.

Anyway, if you can get away for 4 days in the summer, you must join us.

I've looked at a deep green touring on the floor of Concord Motors in Milwaukee, WI.
Looks great, but you have to look twice to see it's green and not black.
Interior is brown not black. Black would look fine too.

Am I the ONLY one Brave enough to order Deep Green/ Nasca Black Leather?
More photos, of the oxford green, E61 with M-pack, belonging to the Dutch member mhoutman.
I think it looks great and probably the new Deep green looks even better as looks more brilliant.

Aren't odd colors whether they look good or not harder on resale values? Here in Taiwan nobody wants my Deep Green X5. They used car dealers want to give me much less simply because it is Deep Green and not Black or Silver.

THANKS EVERYBODY I didn't expect such great feedback. I still think it will be a rare bird with DEEP GEEN/ BLACK NASCA LEATHER. I hope the vented seats do their job. I will keep you posted on that one.

The green looks only OK on the E60 IMHO. I think the 5-series from the early 90's looks fantastic in green - which explains the large number of green/biege cars sold at that time.

The exterior shape seems to dictate the attractiveness of certain colors. Similar to a green 1993 5-series, a 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera looks much better in red than the later 993 or 996 models (haven't seen a red 997 to comment on).
