Default Climate control problem

I have a problem with my Climate Control Unit. Yesterday went for a drive, started it up, noticed that it doesnt blow air, the control unit does work, it lights up, can turn a/c on and off, but it didnt blow air. So I went for a drive anyways and after some time of driving it suddenly starts working. Went to few places where I had to turn car off and leave, came back and it worked fine. Today after a night of sleep it doesnt work again.

Has anyone had any issue with it?

I did but I also had an ugly noise coming from the blower. Dealer replaced the blower under the extended warranty (2 years ago). Hope this helps.

I have no noise, except from when i turn on the a/c, i guess it’s trying to blow the cold air. I have no warranty as it’s imported car, second hand, not bought from dealer.

You might start with the blower, it is behind the glove box, inside the cabin. I don't think it is that hard to change, I only took it to the dealer because I still had warranty, otherwise I would've done it myself.

Is it behind glove box? I Have 2007 e61. I thought it’s behind climate control and radio and the disk changer

It is definitely not behind the glovebox. And while you're at it I would change the whole assembly with the final stage regulator which is probably the issue. There is a lot to take apart to get to it. So change everything. I've done it and it is not bad but give yourself a few hours to do it

Sorry, it is behind the Radio and A/C controls...not behind the glove box. It was behind something
