Think I might have spun a rod bearing in my wagon today. Awaiting the verdict...
160k, 2008 535xi manual, Space grey w/ grey interior.

Not sure of value parting or selling as is. Any ideas?

You'll get more parting out but that's a lot of effort!

Luckily not as catastrophic as it seemed. Alternator and start just seem to have spontaneously frozen while I was driving.

Repair quote from the dealer including belt/tensioner and oil housing gasket was amusingly high. Looks like I'll need to bust out the wrenches and get my knuckles dirty.
