Brake fluid change

My Ride: 2006 525d M-sport,19" staggered style 95 wheels,custom quad exhaust with modified reiger rear bumper insert,LCI front and rear lights,stage 2 custom remap, DPF removed, cat removed
Default Brake fluid change

Its just shown up on the dash that the brake fluid is due a change, i assume thats its just dot 4 fluid. But how much do i need?
The cars is a 2006 525d E61

I just had this show up on my dash as well. How did you manage? I was thinking of doing it myself.

Personally I don't like to use the pressurisation method. I did this once on a ford, had to much pressure and blew the resevoir off the master cylinder.

I have one of them suction pumps which hold around 6 litres for changing engine oil through the dipstick. So first thing suck the fluid from the resevoir, then hook it up to the furthest caliper from the master cylinder undo the bleed nipple and suck the fluid until you see new coming out, then work your way through the rest of the calipers, checking the fluid as you do it.
