My Ride: 2007 530xi Black with Dakota Leather
Default

hello, I am curious if anyone has a brand of brake pads that they like or would reccomend.

I have a 2007 530xi wagon.

I always have excessive brake dust. I mainly do highway miles, but must be doing something wrong to constantly have black rims.

They are factory brakes right now, but want to know if anyone out there has a solution...

Any help would be great, would love it if someone said somethign like... I had that issue as well and I started using these brakes(pads) or input helpful comment.

Thanks, mj

hawk hps seem to be recc'd often around here for reducing brake dust....pm member/vendor acuteperformance

brake dust is a common complaint with the OEM brake pads...most do switch them out for low dust brake pads. I myself did 2 years ago, I'm running axxis pads, but don't think those are available anymore....good luck...

another popular pad would be the posi-quiet pads. they have the same description as the axxis deluxe pads. another popular pad we carry is cool carbon, which is a street/semi-track pad

And keep waxing your wheels in mind - makes the dust v easy to remove with soap and water - no harsh wheel cleaners required.

Just ordered the MGP caliper covers (calipercovers.com)?
They are supposed to reduce dust and give the wheels a brembo look for a mere $200 (more for custom logo).
