BMW E61 Air Suspension
Greetings gentlemen
I've had a headache ever since i've bought this wagon and the problem is well known to a lot people. I will try to keep it short and understandable..
So the problem started as soon as i drove back to my hometown (Drove about 200kms) and everything seemed to be okay..
First the car started lying down on both sides, as soon as i drove past huge bumps or holes on the roas and the compressor would kick in and start lowering the back. Compressor also would kick in if more people will sit in the car (Backseat)
When doing diagnostic it says "Right level sensor" and also right level sensor gives me -73 value so first i thought the sensor is dead so i replaced it with a new one but the same problem occured.. I've also tested a new module which also didn't give me any help..
I am lost right now and i can't manage to find the problem.. Could it be the wiring? because down the trunk its all messy (The wires there are not in one piece) it seems that the old owner maybe had the same problem and couldnt fix it..
I'm planning to send my car to my hometown car repair company which will cost me 25€ an hour.
Can someone give me advise what to do?

As i am new to all this car thing then i can say that i am not really good with cars and have some trouble doing bigger fixes by myself.. i even tried to switch the sensors from left to right and samewise and now the compressor doesnt work at all. Before i could shut down the car and then restart it to bump up my car and drive for about 5-10 hours without any problems but the fault code would still be there.. I would be really thankful to everyone who is willing to go through this journey with me..
If you guys have more questions regarding this problem then go ahead and ask.. I belive that the current information is not enough..
Cheers

Yes, it most likely could be exposed or broken wiring. You'll maybe have to do some deep visual inspection to find the culprit, which usually entails unwrapping wire harnesses.

But also why doesnt the compressor doesnt kick in at all now? i could start it with a computer but automatically it doesnt work at all anymore after replacing the sensors from left to right

Do you have INPA? That will make troubleshooting much easier. If the compressor won't run at all, it's most likely either the fuse or it's dead. From what you describe it may have been being overworked and burned out.
