BMS OCC and RB PCV valve installed(carbon buildup)

while i have a BMS OCC installed as well as a RB PCV valve. how long should i be due for a walnut blast? i know the OCC helps with carbon build up but i hear the OCC doesn't make it "corrosion free buildup"?
