Biggest spacers for factory wheels

Hey guys I'm new to this, I just bought an 06 530xi. I'm going to put rims in summer but for now just wanted to put biggest possible spacers on my 17" factories to give it that aggressive look. Plus I know it's not good to pug staggered wheels on all wheel drive but does thus mean I should also put same size spacers all around to keep everything even? Also my radio is all static I went to dealer and they said it was wiring $140 in parts and about $2300 in labor 😱 is there anywhere else that can do this work? Thanks in advance for help.

You can run staggered wheels. The problem arises when the difference in diameter of the tires exceeds @3%.
You can run spacers. Do a search and you will find the best way to measure the size you need. It's pretty easy using a straight edge and measuring the distance between the fender and the widest part of the wheel.
For $2300 you can upgrade to the newest CIC navigation!! Find a reputable independent repair shop in your area to help and your wallet will be better off.

1010tires site has a good wheels offset calc - just plug in your current wheels dimensions then add your new wheels (width + offset) figures and compare.
For your reference - my LCI E61 takes 15mm spacers on the rear and 12.5 mm on the front with 8.5" wide wheels with 46mm offset. This is my car's (and some other members here) maximum track width with no rubbing and 245mm wide tires square setup. Pre-LCI should be the same I think.

Not entirely flush but very close, maybe I can push them out by another 3-4mm but I am afraid it will rub and I do drive on some dirt roads.
Also don't forget that the tire width may affect your spacer size decision.

what size tires are you running? I'm running 8.5 wide rims with a 40 offset with 245 size tires and looking to go between 12 and 15mm in the rear. Just wondering if 15mm would be too much?

I've got 245/40/18 all round and have 12mm front and 15mm rear.
That's the most I would go as with my modest tyre it starts to make the tyre look skinny if you go any wider IMO.
I've seen an E60 with 20mm all round and it just looked a bit strange with wheels like mine.
