Here in Denmark it is very expensive too!
Last year I got a ticket (driving 70 in a 50 zone) = 2.000 DKK = 2.440 SEK..
If you are Danish and are speeding more than 30% over the speed limit, you will get a "notice/dot" in the register. After 3 dot's they take your licens
But since I've a Swedish driving licens they can't give me warnings, only tickets !! The officer told me this last year when he pulled me over: "Simon, Do you know the downside by living in Denmark, and having a Swedish licens - If you are getting stopped without the licens in the car, we can't check you up in your database, and you will get a ticket for not having a licens.. I told him: "I always have my licens with me, while driving... And he answers "You can't get warnings either with your Swedish licens" -my answer: "I know, and that's why I haven't changed it to a Danish" He just wrote the ticket, 2000 DKK and said have a nice day :'(
BTW: I was driving a silly Audi A3 1.6

msport package, steptronic, pdc, mystik blue, grey dakota leather, sunroof, Bi-Xenon, heated rear seats, Hi-FI system, velour carpets
So that means that I can not loose my driving licence? Only get a ticket?
I'm not saying that I'm going to driver over the limit, I'm just curious.

After getting a Danish management at work I think I prefer the stupid Swedish limits and ticket levels. (I got fired for telling that I had offers from other companies! My union will solve it and it will be expensive...)
