My sedan I had the weather proof tray in the trunk. Any body have any suggestions with any of the multiple BMW cargo area covers?

I'm not sure the "hard plastic" Tray is the way to go since it leaves the seat backs exposed.

Any comments,suggestions, experiences are welcome
If it helps I have a medium to large sized Lab and the Wagon took the place of a SUV, so there could be some minor potting soil/ plants from Home Depo involved... no Ski's/sno boards or Surf boards...

BMW sells a cover for the rear area of the 535 Touring which I bought and still haven't used. Part # 51-47-0-391-105 Luggage Compartment Cover. $226.00.
