Default Any DIY Available for Coilover Installation?

I tried the search function, but I did not find exactly what I am after. Have any you installed/replaced shock/spring on your xDrive E61 and have a DIY?

Wish you were closer, be happy to help. If you look up some e9x 3 series coilover installs, our cars are pretty similar up front. In the rear, you are just doing an adjustable link instead of the spring(super simple). The rear shock is also similar to the rear of an e9x(remove carpet in trunk to access top nut, one bolt down below).

Feel free to email me if you have any questions(markrperrault@gmail.com). I actually will be doing a coilover install on an e92 M3 tonight. Then finishing the rear of my e61 tomorrow. Still waiting on some custom brackets for the front of the wagon though.

Thanks for the info! If I encounter any issues, I might send you an e-mail. I appreciate it!

Not a problem. BMW tends to make all their suspensions sort of mimic each other in general principal with small differences here and there.

Just be sure to disconnect all the leveling sensors front and rear before dropping control arms!

What coilover kit are you using for your wagon? E61 I presume?

e61, I am not using coilovers. I am building a 1 off air ride setup for the car.
