The T comes with rear air suspension which adds to the cost.

I think the rear suspension makes the car drive a little firmer/tighter which is better.
What do other think/know?

Actually it should be cheaper, less doors, less windows etc. However it is produced in smaller amount so less pieces to divide the costs and all the rest is marketing.

The interior of the 6ers is by far more luxurious and high end vs the 5s..........

E61 has 5% longer gears and weighs more. Rear visibility isn't as good in E61. However, you can get panoramic sunroof in E61. Other than this I'm not aware of.
You are wrong. Only in some engines the touring has shorter gears (same gearbox but different diff ratio):

E60 523i - 3.23
E61 523i - 3.39

E60 525i - 3.15
E61 525i - 3.23

E60 520d - 2.56
E61 520d - 2.64

E60 525d/530d - 2.47
E61 525d/530d - 2.56

The others has the same gearing. The touring is also 100kg heavier than the sedan. I don't find much more difficult to drive. You still can have a lot of fun in the roundabouts with the E61.

The E61 has a different center of gravity compared to the E60 - this is something you definitely feel in the curves.. I guess it is because of the extra weight of the back of the car that you are dragging with you..

It's not necesseraliy the extra weight, but where that extra weight is. Because you have all that extra metal and glass high up it elevates the centre of gravity and therefore all estates are more succeptible to body roll.

The estate is actually closer to a 50/50 weight distribution and the air bags seem to make the car feel tighter.
