IS there any way to change the angle the mirror stops at when activating the kerb function? It drops way past where I need it so I am looking at the floor next to the passenger door, not where the back wheel is. Didn't see anything in the manual about doing this nor could I find a thread with the info.

Thanks
Lee

There is a thread where this is discussed (I think "Tips & Tricks" or similar) and apparently the angle is fixed and its impossible to change. (Unlike some Mercedes cars if I remember correctly, where it can be adjusted).

Two potential solutions:

1. If you have memory seats, you can use the first driver settings as yours and make the second driver settings exactly the same, with the only change being the passenger side mirror turned down so you see the back wheel. When you park, you can just press the "Memory 2" button and the mirror should tilt to the desired position.
I haven't tried this but if you want you can, and then share the results.

2. I am regularly checking the coding threads on the forum here, and I hope that sooner or later the guys with the laptops and big brains will trace down the code for the kerb function angle..

Thanks for the info, will give option 1 a try. I'm just getting the software so will be looking for something like this as part of my research.

Sure, these instructions assume you have Comfort seats.

1. Set up how you want it
2. Press the M button, it should light up red.
3. Press the number 1 button to save 'normal' driving position. M button light goes out.
4. Move passenger mirror to required position
5. Repeat steps 2 and 3 but use button 2 to save 'reversing' position.

Now simply press 1 or 2 to choose your position.

Thanks - finally did it today and it works perfectly

I also found the reason why it did not work last time I tried - if you just get in your car and try to save your current position as "M1", the memory button does not light up in the first place.
(Probably the car wants to avoid confusion around saving M1 position as M2 for example and losing the previous M2 settings.)

In that case you have to move something on the seat, just a few mm forward and then backward, and - voila - now the M button lights up and the position can be saved.

In this case... automation is useless.
