Accessory Power on or closest to the tailgate for a rear camera?
I picked up a front and rear camera dashcam that runs off the accessory power in the front.
I picked up a backup camera that is integrated into a tailgate handle. It also happens to be wireless, so I need to pull power to it near the handle. Where is the nearest accessory power that I can splice from? I tried the trunk cabin lighting, but that is only 4 V and I need 9-14V for the camera.
I also considered pulling from the rear window wiper motor, but I'm not sure if that is constant 12V or only accessory power.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
thanks!

I tapped into the wires for my reverse lights. Camera only needs to be on in reverse anyway, right? I tapped in wires and added a plug so I can easily disconnect if needed. No errors or bulb warnings.
