Hi all,
This will be my 12th BMW so I know the product pretty well, but it is the first wagon and it will be shared by me and my wife. I am trading in my beloved Black/Black 545.
Questions:
Need opinions re: good color combinations. Wife's job is to select these; she is leaning toward Titanium Grey/Grey interior. Is that a bit on the dull side?
Am ordering a pretty basic car: Steptronic, Premium Package, Comfort Seats, NAV, & Park Distance.
Are there any wagon related or stowage accessories that you would recommend?
What kind of gas mileage can I reasonably expect from the 6; I have always had their V8 models?
Thanks to all.

Congrats. on your choice. I had same thoughts, I finally decided on my choice, which you will see in my signature. I considered grey interior but also thought it may be a bit plain, so I've been a bit more adventurous and went for biege. I think it's a good colour combo with,my choice Mystic Blue, or yours Titanium grey.
Whatever; I'm sure you'll like it.

Living in NJ, you might consider the Cold Weather Package. The heated steering wheel is fantastic. I never wore gloves all winter.

My Ride: 535ixT On Order: 2010 E61, Ordered 1/05, Est. Birth 3/09, Est. Delivery 4/09, Carbon Black, Cream Beige Dakota Leather, Steptronic, M-Sport Pkg., Type 135 18
Model Year: 2010
I second that on the Cold Wx Pac.
Have you thought of the Sport Pac as as way to get Comfort Seats and 18" wheels with summer tires - try to get non-runflats?
I will go to 17" wheels and winter tires come November.
Congrats

Color choices are personal choices as you know. However, having owned a silver/grey combo in the past, I would definitely do black instead on the interior. Same holds true with Silver Grey. Go black inside.

I tend to agree because the grey interior could be difficult to keep clean looking.
Thanks for the opinions guys. Please keep 'em coming; the more input I get the better. I have an appointment tomorrow ( Saturday ) afternoon to sign the contract for the new one so all tips or hints are very welcome.
