530xd died rolling
So its been winter for a while and havent used the car for a few days, today its a bit colder then previous days - 6 c.
Went out and started it up and let it warm up for like 10min and then drove for about 15min? Drove up a hill playing a good song and noticed car slowing down, put my foot down and was surprised nothing happend, looked at The rpm and realised the engine was dead and rolled to the side of road and put in p.
Tried starting it with ignition still on, nothing.
Turned of the music and listend and could hear it cranking just fine with a good spinn.
Shut of ignition, waited for a minute.?
Tried again and It started right up.
No hesitation, stumble.. All as usual.
Drove it to my father and had a coffe and chat.
Went out and checked the codes with protool and got one for cyl6 injector.
Cleared it and started car, this was after it been out in the cold for over 2hrs.
Let it sit on idle for 30min and drove home 10min in to my heated garage.
Let it be in there for 2hrs were its room temperature and used inpa and ran injectors. All in spec but a slight higher value on cyl6.
Checked fuel pressure, Voltage, load battery.. You name it.
Even used ista for the 10min bleading of fuel with car on.
But sometimes the car would just spinn over and not start, didnt matter hot or cold.
But no new codes... Either in inpa, ista or protool???
Suddenly car started and Ive been out driving it for 50min, all is up to temp, if i give it wot it give me all the power "use protool and see all number irl"
Parked in the garage and went inside.
What should i do? Cant drive a car in winter that could suddenly die on the freeway.
Could it still be the injector making it not start sometimes even no code was thrown?
Im baffled.

Injector would cause what's going on. Sadly whatever it is it intermittent. Was there any messages in INPA? I has something like this happen to me and it took me a while to find the issue when it finely through a code. When you say spinning is it cranking or the starter is just spinning.

Yeah i believe in the injector aswell, maybe it got stuck?
Yeah it was cranking but i would assume no fuel, turned of ignition and on.. All was well.
Tried all now, had it warm garage, cold outside, waited days.. All variables and can not reproduce it.
It works everytime again.
So just gonna roll until it throws a code.
A bit dangerous it shuts down the pump for a injector since you can be going on the highway.
Inpa gave me nothing, made the fuel air leak with Insta just to rule out all and ordered fuel, oil, cabin, air filter aswell oil to service the ones i didnt in the summer.
