Saw it listed on the Canadian auto trader for $22,000 Canadian, which if somebody wanted to import it, would be about $17,500 US.

It sounded too good to be true, so when I followed up, it turns out it was in an accident and has a rebuilt title on it. Which is odd, because for it to have been written off with such low mileage, it must have been a heck of an accident?

He sent me pics of the car after the accident, and it looks like it was a rear ender.

Ooof, just looking at that drivers rear 1/4 makes me wince. I'd imagine there's subframe damage as well.
