2007 E61 530i CCC Fascia/Audio Question.
Hi all,
Recently had another CCC unit fail on me. I've replaced it with one from an X5, and I found that my old fascia won't work with it (CCC will reboot without it's original). I've gotten it to work, coded fully no problems. I have the circuitry behind the climate control fascia to get the unit to actually boot. I don't expect it to last long but I'm looking at getting my original one repaired so it'll work in the meantime - my expectations aren't high but it was a cheap unit (it's slow as hell too and by past experience is probably on it's last legs). Has anyone been able to get the fascia from the pe-LCI CCC unit to work with an X5 CCC unit?
Another problem is the audio doesn't sound like it's working properly either. I have the Hi-Fi option (one in-between standard and Dolby) but it sounds like my amplifier and subwoofers are not being utilised at all. I did code all the associated CCC modules as mentioned (with a NCSexpert, CAPL, etc) but the audio still doesn't sound right. For reference my previous two CCC units were E60 ones and the sound was great.
Appreciate the help in advance! I will fix this properly but just curious as at least it's better than a JBL speaker in front of the screen lol.
