Well then you answered your own question. Of course wagons are included in the database, your specific car just isn't part of one.

From what I've read this recall hasn't been officially rolled out yet. Many cars that are in line for the recall haven't made it into dealer or bmw networks yet.

You speak of 10E-A02, the addition to the original recall that's all over the forums the last few days? I didn't realize that's what you or "irjetsetter" was referencing till I googled new recalls.
Well hopefully BMW gets that list of affected vehicles completed soon, because I know mine falls within that date range and I have at least one Index 9 on bank 2 I suspect is leaking. I'd rather get that done free instead of dropping over $200 (!!) on one now and having to code myself.

Default Injector cleaning

I see a local company that does fairly priced injector cleaning returning them to like new condition. New caps, prongs, filters, and flow tested with evidence of testing. For the money it seems like a no brainer. Anyone been through such a process? The savings is significant, turn around time short and seems appealing. Unless you want to try a newer injector.

Injector service pricing:

Top feed (o-ring, hose end, or mechanical), 3 or more$24.95 each

Top feed (o-ring, hose end, or mechanical), 2 or less

Side feed, 2 or less

$50 each

Install hose kits on hose-end injectors

Add $7.95 each

For Porsche 928 electronic injectors ONLY, install Bosch seal kits

Add $13.50 each

You sure that's for direct injection? I've had success with getting injectors cleaned before and I intend to do it next month on my E46 but these are not standard run of the mill injectors. They don't have O-rings, they have a teflon seal that requires a special tool for installation. Normal injectors for an M54 run something like 70psi pressure but the N54 ones are running under 1500-3000, or something like that.

I called. They don’t do the direct injection injectors cleaning. But fcp euro had remanufactured ones for sale that are showing out of stock so they definitely exist. Any thoughts?

Those FCP 'remans' are supposed to be legit but they've been back-ordered for months. I check every few days and things haven't changed. I refuse to pay over $200 for new injectors at this point just because you could get them for $110 not 2 years ago. They fluctuate, but man, lately they've been pegged up there.

It seems like this recall is for an extremely narrow audience.
