08 E61 535xi Touring FUEL INJECTORS
Hi everyone, I am looking to install a full set of Fuel Injectors on my wagon and was wondering if reprogramming the Fuel Injectors is mandatory, especially if I get the exact same version(-8) that came off the vehicle? If anyone of you gentlemen knows, I will appreciate the help. Thanks

The engine will start anyways the values you can try to Mach up as close as possible to existing injectors it will even run okay
its better to write the values!
The gasket and the Teflon seals get hard and should be changed if you swapping to a used ones, that’s impossible to do without tool (I would not bother attempting )and swap straight up

Thanks Ivas, so in simple terms you are saying that I will need to somehow program the new fuel injectors?

If you're going to go through the hassle of changing out injectors, also do the seals and decouplers, and get the latest Index 12 injectors, or you're liable to be replacing crap with crap.

its not recommended to mix old and new injectors (index) 8 and new 11 or more
so if you got dead injector you can use same index and replace individual injector just replace seal and decoupled like MysticRob said above

You might want to check if your vehicle is covered by the latest injector recall from BMW... https://www.bmwusa.com/safety-and-emission-recalls.html
