Default Zimmerman Crossed Drilled Rotors

I live in New York and need a wholesaler for the following
Zimmerman Drilled Front part # 150.3434.52
Zimmerman Drilled Rear part # 150.3461.52
Please advise contact information for wholesaler that carries these. I would like to pair them with Akebono eur918 & 919 pads. Thanks for your help.

Drilled rotors will crack. Not always of course but likely to require them to be replaced prior to their minimum thickness.

I have a cracked one on my E60 right now.

And do not offer better performance under less than full out track conditions. Pads make a difference, however. But really, the tires make the biggest improvement in braking performance. Aside from fade in the brakes, tires are the weakest part of braking performance, i.e. the brake always have more capacity to brake than the tires.

Has anyone else had their drilled rotors crack? This is the first Im hearing of this. I have Zimmerman z coated plain rotors now and they are great. The drilled rotors have the exact same specs. I like the look of the drilled rotors especially since I have wheels that make the rotors more visible. I know they cost more but I'm not gonna sacrifice safety for looks. Will they last and is it a waste or not?

The cracking is not necessarily a safety issue, but since you seem more interested in "cosmetics" than in true performance gains, I would argue that CRACKED drilled rotors don't look very good. BTW, I use the Zimmermann z coated plain rotors on my 2005 545 and I think that they look and perform just fine.
For me its a waste of money to get drilled rotors, especially when there is no performance gain and a possible reliability liability. But its your choice.

A lot of the things we do for these cars is for cosmetics. Reliability is a major issue. I've had the Zimmerman plain rotors for a while with no issue and don't want to trade looks for reliability or safety. Thanks for the info.

I use FCP Euro for everything. They are in Ct. so you will get your part most likely next day. They price match and have a lifetime warranty on everything they sell. This will be the last set you buy. When they wear out, ship them back and you'll get a new set!

I use them as well. I checked with them first cause they offer a package on the Zimmerman regular rotors but they told me they don't provide the drilled rotors.
