Hi everyone,

I have a 2008 535xi. I am still new to this whole BMW and am trying to figure out what I can do to my car. As some of you know, I recently had a cracked wheel and just bought one to replace it. I am thinking once I have the whole set, I will sell my current square set and purchase a staggered set. I am looking at a few options and am hoping that someone can verify whether they will fit on my x-drive.

Set I am looking at:
Front: 19x8.5" (offset 33)
Rear: 19x9.0" (offset 33)

Front tire: 245-40-19
Rear tire: 275-35-19

Since my current set is 19"x8.5 with offset 35 (ET35) and the tires are 245x35R19, do you think the set I am looking at will fit in my car?

Cryptical,

It seems like you have the same car as I do... Your wheels look nice. What type of wheels do you have? and what tire size do you have on? Thanks.

Yup...same car! They're the same size tires on a staggered setup of 19" CSL reps from OemWheels.com.

Yup yup I know...it's one of the things on my list! I got it last Feb., and been reading this forum day and night to gather whatever info I can. It's Cobb tuned, got the CSLs and even hardwired my radar detector thanks to this place! Next is KW V3's, AR DPs, and hopefully a custom exhaust.

Cryptical,

Just found out that rear wheel could be 19x9" ET44 (not ET35). Will they still fit? It might go in really far right? I am going to pick them up tomorrow, but if they don't fit my 535xi, then there's no point. I am looking at the BMW #331 style staggered set that just came off an 535i 2011.

That can't be correct...I think the stock offsets for an 535xi are 43 or 44 and the 535i is like 20-22 or so (someone please correct me if I am wrong). But nonetheless, those offsets should be fine and will look nice and somewhat flush.
