I really don't want to order the wrong parts. Can anyone provide me with part numbers for the Mtech brake ducts and the foam supports? I emailed Tischer and they don't seen to understand what I'm looking for. I have a 2008 535xi.

^^^You can find the digrams with part numbers on realoem.com. I think I still have the parts list that came with my kit. If I can find it I'll convert it to pdf and send it to you.

I too ordered the MTech Replica kit from Umnitza and will have the full kit installed hopefully by the end of this week. Will get it washed up and post pics for everyone. Wish me luck!

Are your sideskirts OEM or rep? If it's rep, they are known to be shorter than the OEM. I doubt the shop can fix that.

I don't have any experience with this rep bumper as I have the OEM MTech kit installed. And yes, the OEM MTech kit has a sheet that shows how much to cut off (about 1 inch square off the 2 mounting bolts). They even provided a foam "adapter" to mount the bracket and fill the space you just took off. I doubt taking a total 2 inch square in 1 inch increments will make a significant safety issue on the bumper. Especially since the cut-out is below the foam, not in front of impact. All in all, 1 sheet of paper with a couple of notes could have saved the OP and the shop some trouble and mount it right the first time.

I answered you elsewhere but for the benefit of others:

Brake Ducts - 51 11 7 896 587 - 51 11 7 896 588

Foam Inserts - 51 11 7 896 591 - 51 11 7 896 592

I paid $50 each w/tax from dealer for foam inserts because I wanted them immediately.
Better prices below.

+1 with balbs. There is actually a very nice DIY out there for this. Cutting the clearance I easy, you just don't want to remove them totally from your car.

In my previous post I still have the gap from when the shop installed it. I have not messed with it yet, but here are pics of the gap. Looking underneath the car it looks like there is a black plastic piece that the front of the side skirt has a screw into. Is that black plastic piece supposed to be on the bottom of the side skirt, or does the side skirt go over it? Its the same case on both sides and is really annoying having that gap.

Disgregard the above, I took a closer look at it and the clip in the front they did not attach the green pin in place properly. I realigned the clip and now it looks all normal.
