Wouldn't it be even cheaper to create an MP3 of a the blow-off valve sound and just blast it through your stereo? I just figure if you're going to look (and sound) like an idiot might as well go all the way

No different than someone buying an exhaust to change their sound-I mean an M5 is pretty quiet-so those exhausts that sound like F1 cars-ii mean-we all get exhausts to modfiy the sound of our cars-I personally wouldnt get this as I dont even know what a BOV sounds like nor would it be worth it to me-but seems reasonable

Not quite accurate. SOME exhausts only modify the sound, others (RPI for instance) actually have proven performance gains that cannot be ignored. The product listed here though? BS
