I have Michalin PS2s and have done about 40K with them. They have excellent grip and road noise is excellent.
The down side is that they cost a little more, but IMHO you get what you pay for.

I think this really depends on 3 things:
1) What they will be used for and on (daily drivers/concrete/asphalt/spirited driving/racing/etc.)
2) How long you want them to last
3) How much you can afford

Have you considered Falken 452, I running on them now, and tirerack has pretty good reviews. Good bang for the buck compared to Michelin PS2.

I informed for wheels including the tires at several shops and they all give me a quote with Dunlop tires as best price package.
I was wondering.....why.....are they any good....should I go for something else......????

GJ, I have the Dunlop Sportmaxx. I guess they are successful beacause and they are quiet and offer very good performance.
They have good handling aqua characteristics in the wet which is also important in this country...

Don't get dunlops, they have very short tread lifes, I have had them on assorted VAG products, MB's, AND BMW's, I am just waiting till my Run flats are done ( working on second set of rims ) and get either Mich, Bridgestones,Contis, maybe BFG's on a second set of wheels...
The Mich and Contis are in close to the same price range now....
