Hi All,

I have an '05 530i and I just installed the Xcarlink multimedia interface.
It works well as I have my ipod conected for videos and a front facing camera.

My question is what wire in the back do I have to tap into for the reverse camera.

i see people list that they have used a relay and so on but no one specified what tail light wire needs to be tapped into. If any one can shed some light on this or even a pic will be greatly appreciated.

I need install a Rear CCD Camera for my MULTI MEDIA VIDEO INTERFACE.

And possible to know the wire for connect to +12v ACC ?, i need to get the camera with no reverse for exemple.

I just wired my reverse cam last week but I forgot the wire color,

I found it... it's Pin # 3 white/yellow on the passenger side. works like a charm. Also to make your life easier if you don't have fold down seats just go in the trunk as far as you can on your back & look up and release the 2 pressure locks with a flathead screwdriver. this will allow you to move the top part of the rear seats forward like 2 or 3 inches which is more than enough space for the wires. then just run them along the side then under panels under the doors and up into the glove. No need to remove any part of the rear seats. I did and it was completely unnessassary. good luck.
