Suspenion
Can anyone out there help me.....I have a 2004 525 and for some reason, the right front side of my car is about 1/4 lower than the left side. I put a set of Eibach springs (pro kit) on it and the right front rubbed. The shop recommended me that the struts was bad so I put brand new struts on it and it still was lower on one side. I took off the Eibach springs and put the stock ones back on and it was still lower on the right. I want my car lowered but don't know what to do at this point because I can't afford coilovers. Has this ever happened to anyone, what can I do?

Our cars are lower on the right from the factory. Apparently BMW expects there to be only one person (the driver) in them car most of the time, so they calibrate the suspension to level out with someone in the driver's seat. Pretty much the only way to completely level it is with coilovers.

Curious...there are numerous threads that say this. What is it exactly that makes the driver side higher than the passenger side. Are there dfferent spring part numbers for driver and passenger side where one is longer than the other? Do the shock mounts on the driver and passenger side have different dimmensions somehow?

Is it possible to put a left shock tower on the right side so they will be even?
