My Ride: BMW e60 525Da LCI White, DPF out, Front grill black, Shadow line, license plate super bright led, interior white leds;
i have the sport shifter , coded and it works, yesterday i installed m5 steering wheel,i want to work the paddles, the diy is the same with the sport steering wheel? will work the paddles after?

i mesured the voltage at pin 11 at ebox and when i press + the voltage drops, but when i press - nothing happens, the voltage remains intact...

My Ride: 2008 550i M-sport, retrofitted heated M-sport steering wheel with paddles, Sport-auto transmission
@Soryn14 - have you adapted the wiring correctly to accomodate the M5 wheel vs the M-sport/sport wheel?
The "standard" paddles for SAT are the push/pull for down/up shift, so the different contacts (from the push/pull) on each paddle trigger the voltage changes for shifting. In your setup, I'm assuming you would need to adapt the wiring so that pressing the "+" would be equivalent to "pulling" the standard paddle(s) and pressing the "-" would be equivalent to "pushing" the standard paddle(s). If you haven't re-wired to accomodate this already, it's probably a good place to start.
Not sure if anyone else has completed this setup, but I'm sure they'll chime in if they have.

Yes , i thought about this that i have m5 wheel, but some users said that are the same setup on m5 wheel. , but i don't think so... Anibody if they installed m5 with working padles can help me thanks
