I do not know.
I read an article that the M1 should be changed to S1, when the leveler in the DS mode, but I have not seen it.
This is the most important question that I have to decide.
Who can help in this matter?

Thanks

Correct. When you move the lever to DS mode, the gear display will change to S1-S5 (it won't shift into 6th in this mode) -- but this is still in "auto" mode. If you use the paddles or change gears with the lever in this mode, the display will revert to M1-M6. Works the same whether the sport button is pressed or not.

If I recall correctly, in a non-SAT automatic the display just reads "DS" when you move the lever to the left but don't change gears - it doesn't show what gear the car is in. Maybe someone without SAT can confirm?

My self coded SAT module does not show S1-S5.

Anyone that codes with NCS and has factory SAT want to share trace files and I will try and figure out the coding for DIY SAT install.

I have the same problem.
Also, I do not feel the difference when sport button is pressed.
Who knows how to solve this problem?

My LCI 535d which is non-SAT shows M1-M6 when lever is pushed to the left. M1-M6 won't appear immediately when you push it, it will be DS initially but as soon as your push it forward or back (+ or -) to change gear it will change to show the gear like M4 etc.

If anyone here in Calgary has NCS, I'm willing to be the guinea pig. My SAT is dealer retrofitted with all of the factory parts/coding, including VO change approved by BMW (and warrantied).
