My Ride: I have a 2007 Black Sapphire BMW 530i with SMG. It has the auburn interior, has PDC, Sports Package, Premium Package, rear automatic sunshades with manual side sunshades, 35% black tint, Upgraded angeleyes from Angelibrights, and Logic 7 Sound System

So my smg hydrolic pump crapped out and its $4500. A local bmw performance shop is currently swapping in another manual transmission and putting in the necessary components such as slave, cylinder, pedal assembly, etc.
I think coding and wiring is the hardest part that they said will take time to figure out. So far they have had the car for a month...I will probably check up on it sometime this month.
I have a 2007 530i n52 SMG...now manual. This will be my first manual car. I have about 83000 miles and I am original owner. I hope this renews my love for this car because I have invested a lot already in cosmetics and preventive maintenance.

Nice keep us posted as I've been considering this option. There's a e61 currently doing the swap I think his name is Evan you might want to ask him if you have any questions he's very knowledgeable
