You can install FLA in your car,but only if it has xenon lights, halogen no go. The auto dimming mirror is not needed but helps you, since Can_h and Can_l is up there.

Default bumping

I'm bumping to see if anyone has more information on high beam assist.

Here is what I have done to my 2008 M5:

Installed correct mirror. Wired to K_CAN_SL and K_CAN_SH.

Changed the vehicle order to include $5AC in both the LMA and CAS.

Coded CCC_APP trace and changed VA_LONGDISTANCELIGHT to aktive.

I can see "high beam assist" in I-drive. But, the actual on/off of the high beam is still not working. What am I missing? Do I need to code the Kombi or something else?

There are a couple of coding options in the LMA which are only for FLA cars, maybe this needs to be activated.

Finally successful retrofitting FLA/High-beam assist in my E60. I do not like to cut in vehicle wiring and therefore chose to create a plug and play solution with a Y-split. Everything works perfect!

I dont think so. Then you have to retrofit xenon headlights!
