Hi,

Thinking of purchasing a set of replica 19" rims like the one that comes with 545 sports package. I would much appreciate if you can share your thoughts and experiences with replica rims.

thanks

All I know is that they look a like. I'm not sure about the other specs. I would assume the BMW ones would have to be better in some way. The ride has been great, no problems.

Go for the real style 124 instead of replica. The specs are different althought they look alike. I had the aaa replicas but changed them to the real style 124 recently. The drive feel is affected with the replicas.

On the OEM 124 style rims, the spoke are not solid. They are hollow on the back side. Just to save weight I guess?

Maybe this is the reason for the negative driving feel?

Can you be more specific about the downside of the replica, since I am thinking about getting them n ship to Hong Kong. Thanks.

The drive feel is different. The car feels a lot heavier and nosier the BMW drive feel is gone. After I replaced replicas with the genuine style 124, I got back the BMW drive feel.
