Has anyone replaced the grill of the E60. I just placed an order for a 2005 530 and I'm going to order the chrome grill which comes on the 545. Is this something I can do myself or do I need to let the dealer handle it for me.

Thanks.

double post homie....

but to answer your question....

let your dealer do it if they're not charging you for the "labor" which is basically snapping it off and putting the new one in.... but if they're expensive..then i'd hit up some local guys who've done it before.. and have them help you out.... a 6 pack of beer and some car convo is better than paying rape prices at dealer for labor.....

My dealer charges $131US for the part. I just don't know if it goes in easily or if other (major) parts have to come out to get to it. I suspect it will be easy....at least I'm hoping.
