Random All feature on the iPod

Can anyone offer any insight as to if there is a bug in the software that prevents the Random All function from being fully functional. If I select Randam All it only does random on 2 to 3 songs and then goes back to playing songs in order. Is this normal with a certain CIP?

I believe it is a bug. I have 23.01 and Random all will play ALL songs on the iPod. Random directory will only pseudo randomize the artist but will play all the songs in a play list belonging to the artist then move onto the next artist and play those songs.
