Ha! So true. I have the Sony SXRD XBR1 60". I had a number of friends on the verge of buying the Samsung DLP's and after talking to me, seeing my TV, reading the reviews on CNET and basically having me sell them on the fact that the SXRD is one of the best televisions on the market, they all ended up getting the same TV. That's what you get, when you do your due diligence on any major purchases you make in your life. Then the rest of the free world wants your opinion and advice.

Thanks for waiting it out and not PM'ing me back when you originally posted -- generally, I always prefer that people keep "regular" questions in the public forums and if I have an answer, I certainly will offer it. Keeping it public (as you did) will help others in the future since it builds the forum database and allows others to search it in the future.
You'd be surprised how many people PM me first with general (not private) questions thinking they'll get an answer from me quicker that way. To the contrary, I usually will ask them to repost the question publically where other members can offer opinions/advice/experiences too. If I have something to add, I'll post it in the public thread as well. This way everyone benefits.
Now if you have something private to say, then by all means use PM. In my opinion, that's what it's for...
