I was on RD sport's website and saw they have a list of mods for the N52B30 engine. Under "power system", they list 289HP for the 530i, I suppose that's engine upgrade?
Anyone know about this? I'm very interest to see what they can do to push stock 255HP close to 300HP.
With chip and filter, exhaust.... Imagine N/A 535i!

Thanks! But I just spoke to the guy at RD sport, the package include cam shaft, headers and some other electronics components for a very decent cost, consider a 34HP gain. With the exhaust, intake and EMS, I'm pretty sure it could hit 300HP. Let the planning begin.....

Just talked to Federico at RD. The system will pass smog, because the catalytic converter will be left alone, just other bolt ons. But they don't have any certificate to back it up. For whatever the reason, if it didn't pass smog, then you are $h!t out of luck
So, it depends....

I'm better off getting a 545 and trading in the 530 for $5k. In other words, its easier to turn a model into a fat chick than it is to make a fatty... thin.
