Question about ordering from Hamann direct

I bought something from Hamann direct and had it shipped right to my door step via DHL. There is only a $40 brokerage/customs fee. Simple transaction.

OK, I just got an email from Hamann and they will send to my house directly, via UPS Express. The package will leave Germany on January 2nd and I should have it within 8-10 business days! The springs were 385 Euro's and shipping was 126 Euros. That comes to $650 US. Pricey, but that's what I get for having the xi model. It's also $200-$250 cheaper than had I ordered it through the US Distributor.
