I know that you wouldn't be able to get any price in that range over here. And you NEED a BMW dealer for it, since you need programming.

Why don't you ask to your dealer, there in germany ?
Are you sure there would be "only" 1500-2000 EUR for parts ?
This morning the technician told me perhaps it would be doable, but for at least ? 3000 and he isn't sure it will work fine .


Roveractive sells these parts :

for $2000 and in his opinion those are all parts needed for the retrofit .

His opinion is not accurate. At the very least, you'll need a new dashboard that has the cutout for the HUD and a new HUD compatible windshield.

Would be interesting ask to Quad_m prices for parts, glass, dashboard, central unit ...
But nobody would spend $4000 to try ... I have suggested to do colletions, for insicure mods , but noone listen to me .
