Sure are. The reason they look like that has more to do with the run-flat tires which have the higher and thicker side walls. Once I burn those up, it's time for some real tires. I did not want them to goto waste so I am waiting for them to get worn which I am sure will happen quickly!

Nice ride! What color is your car? Silver Gray or Titanium? Also, did you get a good price on the wheels? Will be in the market for some 19's so if you know of any good sites with deals, let me know! Thanks!

Thanks Avant! I purchased the wheels at tirerack and had to wait for the 18 x 10 for the rears to be made in Germany for 3 months. I paid $499.00 for the fronts and $569 for the rears. They were on sale, and the last I checked, the fronts were $620 and the rears $632.00 so I got a really good deal on them.

Don Juan, for me, it was not a mistake. I live in PA and we have the absolute WORST roads and anything bigger than 18's would just plain get eaten alive, and I really did not want to have to wreck new wheels and have to get them repaired(even though the Wheel Collision Center is only 15 minutes from me) I would have loved to get 19's but it just does not work for me for where I live.

The good thing is that I am at 1110 miles and SO close to the 1200 mile break in period. This 4500 RPM limit breakin period is KILLING ME! I want to see what this car can do!

oh, and to answer your question, the car is Silver Grey.

bimmerhitman, Iknow what you mean. I had a car with only 17s when I used to live in NY (Brooklyn) and bend the the rims 3 f.. times. So I know whatt you are talking about. The extra cushion is needed. The wheels look great a bit small but makes the car stand better. I drive aggressively and my car has passed the break in period (6800 miles) and boy what this car can do. Just a few nights ago I was showing one of my friends (he has an E39) of the Acitve suspension and steering. He was amazed whwn I took a long S shape curve at almost 100. Thie E60 is just fantasic and I can imagine a 545.
