With the E60 getting into more and more hands of eager customers you know the performance enhancement companies are gonna start putting the products out. It is only a matter of time before the number of Cold Air Intakes, Computer chips, Exhausts and Suspensions flood us with options. I personally believe one of the most important upgrades someone can do their car is to modify the suspension. While reading about the Active Steering and Dynamic Drive, I began to wonder will suspension mods really be necessary. By concentrating on Dynamic Drive in particular you come to understand that virtually all body roll is eliminated in heavy cornerning and isn't that what we all want? What do you guys think?

In terms of mods, I for one would like to upgrade the exterior of an year 1 E60 with M5 exterior enhancement (when E60 M5 is released). Kind of like a current E39 with the M sport package. I wonder how much it would cost...

IMHO driving a car means that the road/track-car-driver communication is mechanical, only then does the driver decide how the car behaves and is able to push it to the limits (his or the car?s depending on his own capabilities). in order to be able to do this, you need to feel the car?s roll "in your buttocks".
