No A2DP streaming audio in your e60? NO PROBLEM!
(For the record, I have no affiliation with the company mentioned below, just wanted to share my experience.)
I have owned three e60s, all of which had the USB/aux connection in the armrest. For years, I have been so irritated that we cannot stream A2DP for music, but finally, there is a solution. A few days ago, I ordered one of these "tune2air" jams from ViseeO, and I can confirm that it works AS ADVERTISED.
You plug it into the 30-pin connector, sync it with your iPhone via the bloothtooth settings and you are good to go. The car thinks that an iPod/iPhone is plugged in, even though your device is in your pocket. MOST IMPORTANTLY, you can play Pandora, iTunes Radio, Spotify, etc. on your device AND YOU WILL SEE ARTIST/SONG info on your display and YOU WILL BE ABLE TO control tracks from your steering wheel.
I have only had the tune2air for one day, but it automatically connects to my iPhone when I get in the car and I am VERY happy with the functionality. Obviously, you need to have the USB/aux connection in your e60 for this to work, but this is the best solution on the market as far as I am concerned. (It sure beats leaving an old iPhone 3G in the armrest and then manually connecting that via wifi to my streaming iPhone5 every time I get in the car.)
Hope this helps anyone looking for a similar solution! Cheers!

There was a post over on M5Boards about this same product. Can you post any screen shots of the artist/song info of your iDrive screen?
