Default NEW e60 XI COILOVER OPTION!?

Hey guys, been trying to find coilovers that will work with out e60 xi's forever and it seems I'm only coming up with CKS (don't trust them) or the infamous KW V3's which are just so expensive!

I found these and they say they fit the xi sedans! What do you guys think? They're only $1,000 so I want to make sure I'm buying something that will last more than a year or two..?

As much as I want this to be true its just hard to believe that there's another option besides CKS or Kw. I looked at the part # and there the same for xi and non xi models, I do remember reading somewhere that ISC was in the works of developing something so im keeping my fingers crossed that this might be another option. I guess just contact ISC and verify through them if this is true. Good looking out for us XI model owners.

I love my cks Coilovers on our E61 xdrive... And they aren't much more than the nearly $1100 price tag you listed for your 'new option' Coilovers... Just a thought

Yes they do, I know ppl who know ppl who know the guy that owns cks, I've worked directly with him and he adapted the touring version of the xdrive chassis from the sedan if I recall correctly.. I'm point him to this thread tho and see if it helps your case any .

Member Island Road is working with ISC to develop XDrive fitment coilovers now. You can read about the progress in the E61 section on this forum.

Throwing this CKS review out there for those thinking about pulling the trigger on them: https://5series.net/forums/e60-parts...0-61-a-140514/

YESSSS!! Just got word from Andrew with ISC that the XI coils for our e60's are almost done and ready for distribution in the next few months. We will have to see how they are and we need some test dummies!

Iv been following Island Road while they were doing the coilovers. They decided to make a E61 kit, once they did that they started to look at E60s. Also on one of the threads where they were talking about this, they respond to me saying that the coilovers are done but they need to play with the spring rates. I dug up the old thread and asked them again on there to make sure. I couldnt wait and I bought the H&R springs last year, now 6 months after, I rather get coilovers, the lowering springs are too bouncy for my taste. Kinda sucks... i feel like i tossed out 270 bucks out the window just because I couldnt wait lol.

Yea I see what you mean Kasmo..

I want to be patient and see how these coilovers really ride and hold up after awhile of use before I buy anything..
