I need to get new brake pads. I currently have Axxis Deluxe.. I was thinking about getting green Stuff Pads. They are about $150 shipped for fronts and rears... I want to get Ceramic, dustless and silent... I know they are tons of pads which are cheaper. can anyone suggest a good alternative. That is silent and dustless.

thanks

does your current axxis squeak? mine squeaks every time i brake, it's been good for the first 5,00 miles and after it started to squeak. really annoying!

aside from being worn out, have the axxis pads performed to your satisfaction? why not replace with the same since i've heard nothing but positive experiences from most members here regarding minimal dust and no squeel on these pads? i have the axxis ultimates but they've been sqeeling like "a horny cat in the middle of the night" since i put them on, in may. embarassing on a bimmer. i'm gonna have to return and replace them, maybe with the deluxe pads since i have the warranty still.

another option with what Ive been selling along with rotors are Posi-quiet pads, which have the same description as the Axxis Deluxe pads as well

+1 for the akebono euro's.

i had axxis deluxe on my former benz and they were great for dust by not real stopping power. the akebono's are perfect. i've had them for a while now and i love them.

i believe the correct part number is EUR918 for the fronts.

when I did the mini-research on the pads, I remember that EBC's stuff was the best in my case, but I drive hard at times, so I would sacrifice the dust/noise for performance... I know this is not much help, but that's all I can remember of the top of my head now.

Keep us in the loop on what you decide, Eugene!

BTW did Axxis wear your rotors too much? I've heard they can warp stock rotors very easily
