Hi all

First post in the forum. I am about to get my first E60 - has had E39 the past 6 years :-)

I'm sorry if this question has already been answered before. I have searched the forum, and found a lot of useful information on Nav retrofitting, but I am still a little confused. So here goes:

My car (7/2003) has no Nav, but is fitted with Bluetooth. I am looking to retrofit the Navi Pro with the wide screen. I am hoping to do this with used parts to save on cost. Basically I have two questions:

1) Is there any limitations as to what revision of the CCC I can successfully fit in my car? Would this Ebay Item work in my car?

2) It appears people are having a lot of problems with Coding of the nav after install. Is there any procedure that one should follow to get the used parts working? I am going to talk to the service shop tomorrow about this, but would be good to know up front if there is anything special to take notice on.

Thanks in advance,
Thomas.
