My Ride: 2007 550i..... ex
Default

So I haven't posted a new topic in a while, thought I'd post up some pics of my temporary wheels - courtesy of ECF. He let m borrow his stock ///M5 wheels with original ///M5 tires. I have stock sport suspension and thought I would have an issue rubbing but so far so good. The gap is so small now, I can barely squeeze my pinky in there. Pulling out of the driveway I immediately notice that turning is a tad bit heavier, not too much of a bother. Anyways here are some pics.

Here are a few pics of ECF's ///M5 and his painted tail lights:

Just for the weekend trip to Bimmerfest and back. I actually have to replace the rear tires on my 124s, they're down to the wear mark. Also I noticed that the inside thread on the tires are extremely worn down making me believe there might be something wrong with my alignment, too much negative camber?

BTW, in that last garage pic do you guys see a halo ring above my car?

Those 166s look great! Not so sure about the car though.

So no rubbing yet? What about when you make sharp turns? You should just buy them from me Danny-Boy.

All he can do is drive on a flat straight line. Any twisties, dips or inclines he'll be in trouble.

He said he only rubs very very slightly on deep dips and no problems on sharp turns.

Yep. So far on the freeway if I happen to run over an uneven big/large dip or bump it'll scratch the slightest bit for a split second. Other than that turns are okay, well I haven't really cornered hard..... yet
